Restaurant Review: Bangkok 56 Thai | Surviving Central PA

I have driven by Bangkok 56 on Paxton St for years thinking that I want to check it out.? Every time I pass by, the parking lot is full. That says something.

I finally had the opportunity to eat at the Thai restaurant about 2 weeks ago.? It was a much needed girls night out with one of my more adventurous foodie friends.

1st impression?the restaurant is clean, the staff is very nice and provide quick service.? Then I looked at the menu.? Holy cow!? 8 pages!? Everything looked good too.

Upon recommendation of the owner we shared a ?side? salad.? Divine and huge.? We got the ground pork, lime, cilantro & peanut salad.? Wowee!? Can we say fresh & full of flavor?

We tried 2 main dishes,? a shrimp curry with fresh, crisp vegetables and a chicken & potato curry.? Hands down winners.

Oh my golly.? Bangkok 56 has just moved to the top of my Thai restaurant list.? It?s a definite repeat.
