- The planned East Village Brewery and Beer Shop on Ave. B at 2nd Street got nailed for appropriating Prime Meats? menu and then apologized.
- Meanwhile, in other beer news, you can now get growlers at a Chinatown newsstand.
- Co-op Food & Drink is getting a lot of love this week: Guest of a Guest has shots of the opening party, and Grub Street offers a peek at the menu.
- Stellina, the new dessert palace on Allen Street, will offer free scoops of its homemade?sorbet and gelato on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m.
