Job Description

Director finance

General Summary:? The Director of Finance is responsible for budgeting and financial analysis of all corporate functions at A?ropostale.? They will manage corporate expenses and research and develop ways to ensure cost savings methods are used to provide for the future overall success of A?ropostale.

Position Responsibilities:
* Develop internal talent base & expand the talent of the department to support the growth and evolution of the business.
* Responsible for Budgeting and Financial Analysis for corporate functions at A?ropostale.
* Support the Finance Team in their roles providing leadership and direction.
* Support the successful launch of all new stores and support the overall growth of the Business.
* Support additional Finance projects such as system upgrades.
* Provide the company with Financial Analytics as it relates to the launch of new stores as well as the continuing operations.? This includes providing management key sales, payroll and operational metrics.
* Direct the production of the monthly management reporting package and the quarterly Board of Director?s presentation.
* Responsible for the monthly P&L projection process.
* Research opportunities to develop and manage projects that will enhance profits and reduce costs.
* Provide ongoing analysis of departmental expenses in a timely manner allowing management to take action when necessary.
* Responsible for the preparation of annual budgets and interim long range plans.
* Responsible for equity accounting.

Position Requirements:

* Bachelor?s degree in related field (CPA a plus)

* 10+ years experience in Finance and/or Accounting fields

* Strong analytical skills

* Strong written and oral communication skills

* Experience developing budgets for an international retail organization
