My client, a leading provider of global indexes, is looking for an experienced individual in to join their Sales management team in the Zurich office . This is a newly created role due to the expansion and success of the business in recent years. The key client target for this role will be buy-side financial institutions in both Europe and Asia. One of the main functions of this role is to develop new business and target new client organisation specifically in the Asian market. This is a senior role in which you will be responsible for both new client acquisition and on-going relationship management. You will be responsible for the sales of a full range of the firm`s product offering and will develop a strong product knowledge in these areas. You will also work closely with the marketing & communications team in the development and execution of marketing and business development strategy for new markets.
The ability to speak an Asian language is desirable but not essential. English is the main working language so fluency in English is essential.
Required skills:
? At least 6 years of prior experience in institutional sales and business development
? An in-depth knowledge of the Asia-Pac financial markets and key players
? Ideally have previous experience of selling to buy-side clients
? A strong educational background, ideally in a financial discipline
